The design of the single-family house in Olecko County, Masuria, PL seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, creating a space that harmonizes with its surroundings. The building features a compact form and intimate scale, ensuring not only an aesthetically pleasing appearance but also low maintenance costs. The optimization of the building's volume, with spaces of varying heights, reduces construction and heating costs while maintaining user comfort.
The living area is designed as an open gallery that directly connects the interior with the surrounding landscape. Large glazing allows for ample natural light and offers a beautiful view of the lake, particularly from the north side, where the building’s form is raised to improve lighting for the plot and garden.
The house uses natural materials for the façade, subtly referencing regional architecture while drawing inspiration from Japanese minimalistic design. This choice of materials and form creates a warm interior that fosters a sense of connection with nature.
