The publication was created as part of the OpenHeritage project and the activities of the PragaLAB heritage laboratory led by the Warsaw Branch of Association of Polish Architects (SARP). It presents and summarizes the results of design workshops focused on the adaptation of the historic Mechanical Bakery located at Stolarska 2/4 in Warsaw’s Praga district.

Two design teams were invited to collaborate: mamArchitekci and Zaczyn. The task for the teams was to develop a business model along with a related concept for the adaptation of the Bakery. One team (mamArchitekci) was asked to propose non-profit solutions, while the other team (Zaczyn) focused on a not-only-for-profit approach.
