Rubble, moss, concrete

Issue 1 (109)/2025 of Budownictwo. Technologie. Architektura, a technical quarterly published by the Polish Cement Association, is largely dedicated to our project at the Warsaw Uprising Mound — featured prominently on the cover and discussed in several articles.

The magazine, which typically explores new construction technologies, materials (especially concrete and cement), and engineering challenges, in this edition highlights both the structural aspects of our design and its broader urban and social dimensions.

In "Rubble, Moss, Concrete," we speak about the design process and how natural processes influence architectural and infrastructural landscapes. Paweł Pięciak’s articles — "Both Laughter and Scream" and "Destruction and Rebirth" — examine the emotional and historical layers of Warsaw, using our park as a key example.

This issue also includes our brief reflection on 2024, prepared at the editors’ invitation.
